Adult Education
RCIA - The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process by which the Church community accompanies adults engaged in faith conversion. Non-Catholic adults, 18 and over, who attend St. Mary Magdalene and are interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith and becoming a Catholic are welcome to join the RCIA program. The RCIA program runs from October to 6-8 weeks after Easter. Sponsors are also needed to provide prayer and support for the candidates, participate in catechumenate classes, and attend the celebrations of the Rite. Being a sponsor is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is interested in personal faith formation and spiritual growth. Sponsors are needed from late November to 6-8 weeks after Easter. No experience is needed and training is provided.
