Our Standards and Performance
We set ambitious goals for our students, and they continue to reach the highest level of spiritual and academic achievement.
- We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
- Our instructional program is tailored to teach the curriculum to our students at the 75th percentile and higher.
- Our students consistently score at or above the 88th percentile on the Iowa Test of Basic Skils (ITBS), which measures student achievement in the core areas of reading, language, and mathematics.
- Thirty-eight percent of the 7th and 8th grade students are members of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), and have maintained a 3.75 GPA over six consecutive quarters.
- Each member of the NJHS is expected to maintain their GPA and be actively involved in the mission of the school. over 80 percent are inducted into the National Honor Society at their respective high schools.
- All of our teachers are fully certified by the State of North Carolina, and 35 percent of the teaching staff holds master's degrees.
- We have daily religious instruction and weekly school Mass that provide students with a foundation of Roman Catholic practices and philosophy.
- Ninety percent of our teachers are Catholic.
- Our 7th and 8th grade students participate in an elective program that is designed to expand and enrich their learning experience.
